What you will Learn
This course is designed to equip future chartered accountants with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand how businesses operate and make informed financial and strategic decisions.
Course Content
Preparation and presentation of financial statements (Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Profit or Loss, Statement of Changes in Equity and statement of cashflows) including preparation of financial statements from incomplete records.
Accounting for inventories, property, plant & equipment (PPE), Intangibles, Investments property including recognition, subsequent measurement, derecognition, impairment and disclosure.
Application of selected IFRS/IAS topics such as revenue recognition, leases, provisions and events after the reporting period.
Presentation, disclosure requirements and professional ethics in financial reporting.
